Request #19-276
  Closed

In your establishment of a proposed all electric homes, etc, I request that I be provided with any copy or information provided to the CC that would demonstrate that the effects of an EMP on the electric system  would have on the life and well-being of the public.

It seems obvious to me that a strong magnetic flare from the sun, or from a EMP from an atomic bomb  would eliminate all electricity from the area, and leave the public with no energy for their homes  and business, as there would be no ability to use other forms of energy to power the home.

Only an optimist would believe that the one source of power would never fail.

Jack H Osborne.
